This renovation involved a comprehensive update of both the existing kitchen and the elevator entry area in the modern apartment building located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.

The focus in this small kitchen was on materiality and sophistication, achieving a balance between expanding cooking areas and retaining ample appliance size.
Pastello marble serves as a central feature in the kitchen, complemented by velvety-textured oak wood and balanced by lighter upper cabinets. High-end metal flush pulls enhance the modern cabinetry lines. A Sub-Zero refrigerator and Wolf gas range cater to any chef's aspirations. A cleverly designed wine cellar is incorporated into the lower cabinets, while a stone ledge wraps around the sink area. The marble countertop extends seamlessly into the backsplash, showcasing its flowing pattern as a striking design element. Additionally, a cozy breakfast area is included at one end of the space.
The entry area, located just off the elevator, needed additional storage for keys and small items. We added a built-in cabinet that matches the kitchen's wood tone, featuring open shelving and drawers. One drawer includes a built-in charging station for phones and small devices. The existing fireplace was clad in new stone, and a niche was created to seamlessly integrate the TV.
Additionally, the renovation features new lighting, including LED under-cabinet lights in the kitchen and a stylish Allied Maker sconce above the entry built-in.
